Lawrence Nemenz is a folk musician based in Nashville, Tennessee.
Lawrence began playing music on the viola when he was 10 year’s old. From there he ventured to the drum’s, and by 14 he was an active member of the music scene in Cleveland, Ohio. While playing in Ohio, Lawrence developed a passion for hand percussion, and decided to study drumming and percussion in Boston at Berklee College of Music. After Berklee Lawrence moved to Austin, TX and began touring with Joshua James. While on the road with Joshua, Lawrence met Southern Ground Recording artist Levi Lowrey, and eventually moved to Georgia to record and perform with him and his band. While on the road sharing stages with artist’s like Alabama, The Zac Brown Band, Blackberry Smoke, Willie Nelson, Gregg Allman, John Mayer and other great’s, Lawrence developed a passion for songwriting and began writing and performing solo. After perfecting a set of original’s and cover’s Lawrence decided to add his other passion into the mix, the drums.
